Awaken Living Books Conference in Traverse City, Michigan, July 26-27, 2024. It will be my fourth time at this particular Awaken Conference, and it is a particular favorite of mine. On Friday, myself and my ADE co-hosts, Liz and Emily, will each do a morning of lesson immersion class with a different form level (Form 1, 2, and 3-6,) and Kelsi Rae of Heritage Academy will do an immersion on using CM’s Methods to educate a neurodivergent child. Saturday will include a whole host of workshops from Liz, Emily, Michelle Howard, Kelsi Rae, Jessica Becker, and me. Tours will also be offered for the Children’s Preservation Library, a private homeschool lending library!
ADE at HOME Virtual Conference, February 7-8, 2025. Do you need encouragement or refreshment for teaching by the time February rolls around? The ADE At Home virtual conference is intended for you. It is designed to reinvigorate your school days and spur you to finish the year well. The conference includes over 30 sessions, including demonstration lessons, workshops, plenaries, live panel discussions, and interactive meet-ups. All of which may be watched on your own timetable for three months, from February to May. Workshops explain subjects and encourage teachers with practical aspects of homeschooling, and recorded demonstrations of specific lessons taught in real-time with real CM students offer a unique opportunity to see the Charlotte Mason method in action. You will also enjoy a book discussion (book to be announced) and a 90-minute Q&A session! In total, this conference includes almost 25 hours of material! Thankfully, you will have three months to watch all of it!
