Keeping a Wildflower List (video)

I’ve written extensively about “The Lists” but I thought it might be helpful if you could see one of my own lists and learn how I keep it up.

This video was first shared with ADE’s Patreon members in December 2020.

Resources:
Notebook: Blueline Business Notebook
Family list: The Naturalist’s Notebook by Nathaniel Wheelwright and Bernd Heinrich
Tabs: come with the book or I like these adjustable ones.
My favorite pens: Pilot Precise V7 RT
White out tape

For those of you in California, definitely get Laws Field Guide To The Sierra Nevada

Hi Nicole! I can’t find how to contact you. Do you have an email? I am having trouble with one of my purchases from 2016 :).

    Thanks!

Nicole, thank you for all the work you put in to everything. I have benefited tremendously from so many of your resources. From podcast recommendations, book reviews, nature study help and so much more. I quickly downloaded the Seek app yesterday and it changed our nature walk entirely. Though we live in the middle of a large city in Taiwan, we do live right by a beautiful university and they have so many species of plants and flowers, though many trees are labelled in Chinese or not at all. While we can read the Chinese it’s a lot more time consuming and a lot less fun! The seek app helped us identify so many things yesterday, plants and animals. I can’t wait to show my girls your video and get started on more nature identification and journaling. Thank you!

Just got my book all set up and entered my first 50 or so flowers, thanks for showing how you do it! This was very helpful!
